How the case converter works

Paste your text, then choose Sentence case, UPPERCASE, lowercase, or Title Case. Sentence case capitalizes the first letter after every period, question mark, or exclamation point. Title Case capitalizes major words while keeping short connecting words like "a," "the," and "of" lowercase, matching common headline style.

This is handy for cleaning up text that came from somewhere with inconsistent formatting — a pasted email typed in all caps, notes typed without capitals, or a heading that needs proper title casing.

Common uses

  • Fixing text typed with caps lock stuck on
  • Formatting headlines and titles consistently
  • Cleaning up pasted text from PDFs or old documents
  • Standardizing capitalization before publishing

FAQ

What counts as a "minor word" in Title Case?
Short connecting words like "a," "an," "and," "the," "of," "in," and similar are kept lowercase unless they start the sentence.
Will this fix punctuation or spelling?
No — it only changes letter casing, not spelling, spacing, or punctuation.
Is my text stored anywhere?
No. Conversion happens locally in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
