How the find and replace works

Paste your text, type what you want to find and what to replace it with, then press "Replace." Every occurrence is swapped and the stamp shows exactly how many replacements were made.

Turn on "Match case" if "Dog" and "dog" should be treated as different strings. Leave it off to replace both regardless of capitalization.

FAQ

Does it replace partial matches inside words?
Yes — it matches the exact text anywhere it appears, including inside longer words. For example replacing "cat" also affects "category."
Can I replace text with nothing?
Yes — leave the "Replace with" box empty to delete every occurrence of the find text.
Is my text saved anywhere?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
